Freelance Signal uses the Freelance Signal Editorial Team for editorial review. No named reviewer or outside professional reviewer is represented unless that information is truthfully added in the future.
What editorial review checks
Review is a check on the record and its evidence. Depending on the page, the Editorial Team checks whether:
- the source supports the exact statement;
- country, currency, product and account scope are clear;
- dates are described accurately;
- fees, timing or availability are not presented as unconditional when the source gives conditions;
- conflicts and unknowns are visible; and
- the wording does not promise a result that a source cannot guarantee.
The review standard is described in Methodology and the Source Policy.
Limits of review
Editorial review is not an audit of a platform or payment provider. It does not include access to every reader’s account, private eligibility status or live transaction path. A reviewed page can become outdated after a provider changes its rules.
Review is not legal, tax, accounting, investment or other financial review. The team label must not be read as a claim that a licensed professional approved a reader’s use of a route.
If a page identifies the Freelance Signal Editorial Team as both author and reviewer, that means the site’s editorial process was used. It does not imply independent external review.
